I saw if for long time

Your heart was never mine

I gave you all that I had
How could it hurt this bad
To see you go

If you wanted to go
You coulda let me know
Instead you led me astray
And then just walked away
I wish youd stay

Day in and out
I carry this doubt
Was this anything
Thought it was everything
I knew that I was wrong
To keep you all along
But now its “so long”

We used to kiss and play

But now its silence for days

You left my heart on a string
This was just a fling
Now that I live a cliché
Now that you’ve gone away
You said can we be friends
You want to make amends
But now you don’t try
You leave me high and dry
I should’ve let you go
Now I must let go

So if you wanted to go

You coulda let me know
Instead you led me astray
And then just walked away
I watched you go…..
