Congressional Chaos Poem by Lento Maez

Congressional Chaos

Rating: 5.0

Timeless lessons in our universe
Too vast is the beauty for a simple verse

How vast are the cosmos within our view
When will mankind get to visit a few

Our actions on this earth so far are not good
It seems that most people are in a bad mood

Their reasons are valid there’s social decay
We fiddle with our gadgets and don’t pray

Congressional members constitutionally blind
Gather their riches and leave us in a bind

They argue and scheme not an honest day’s work
They swore to serve us yet don’t what a quirk

Not soon enough new ballots will be mailed
It is up to us to stay alert and not get nailed

They nailed us already, Don't know what to do If they continue The Country goes, too LOVED IT! Great showdown, it's time to speak up, the abuse and incompetence is SO GREAT, thanks for doing so in a very effective, clever and complete way.10/10
