Consider To See Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Consider To See

The world wide thinks Christians are fooled
Somewhere, somehow, deceived
By fraudsters, pretenders being ruled
Through an ancient book received

But those who seek, truly ponder
Bibles, really research
With preachers, chat nigh and yonder
Then spend awhile in a church

Good churches are worth looking for
Not all are quite the same
Not all have steeples, tall, wide front door
Not all are free of shame

Without Christ Jesus as Master
Without God's guiding Right Hand
Lost souls when tasting disaster
Heed, but not understand

Seek God's Truth, , visit more churches
There's more than singing songs
Speak, study with true researches
Hear their rights and wrongs

True salvation is not just words 1Cor.2: 4
Masqueraded with love
Not proverbial for the birds
But power, through God's Holy Dove 1Thes.1: 5

In time, one hears, learns to see
Gradual change will feel
Realising once truly free
Christ Jesus, truly is real

So often I've seen this before
When faith begins to know
When Heaven opens True Life's Door
Who knows what God will bestow? .....
