Contradiction Poem by Dan Uher

Contradiction

Say what you want to say
You'll do it anyway
You did in the past
But that was not the last

I'm a fool to think you changed
A fool to do the exchange
My heart for your body
Your body for my soul
You fooled everybody
And kept what you stole

You bring the pain
I took the poison
Should be ashamed
But your joyous

I don't get your mind
You are truly one of a kind
I don't know how you think
This is just a game.
