The crows that were not permitted to pick up
..the drying frymes over the terrace were invited
with repeated loud voice calls again and again
..‘kaa..kaa..kaa' on the new moon days
By offering specially prepared food!
Note:
There is a belief among Hindus that the deceased parents and ancestors are supposed to come and bless us in the disguise of crows. The sons shall eat the full meals afterwards on that day.
