Cosmic Star[burst] Poem by Samantha Campbell

Cosmic Star[burst]

Looking Down at Dwarfs
Running Around On the Free Movements of
Shiny Masses In Which I Reside

Within Binary Codes of
A Perfect Vacuum

Dipped in Creamy Constellations
Inside My Milky Jacuzzi
I Am My Own Universal Nation

Curves Desired by Orion
And His Belt Within My Grasp
Unclasped A Most Devious Grin

Yet He Knows Not How
to Rock My World

Lying Across Outer Space Sprawled on
Liquid Mars Tanning

Pulling Viewers Through Gravitational Attraction
That Perkiness has No Affect Upon Mine Own
Curved Silhouette

Cheap
Binary codes
Not Once Surpassing 1 and Never Reaching Three
But remaining in Zero
Planet X, Where They Are All Exiled

Not Once Reaching a Star[burst] of My
Orbital Velocity
Till He
Came With Universal Magnetism
Physical Imperialism
Charming Mannerisms
Pluto-nicely Platonic

I wished to
Have His Circuit Integrated Within My Microchip
for Upon His Van Allen Belt I wished to
Remain in Orbit as if I, His Moon
For HE Could Be My Planet

Spiraling Like Nebulae in Questionable Madness
Exploding in Evolved Clusters
He
Had
me
F L U S T E R E D

Dancing Across Galaxies I See Him
Electric Adonis Lighting Up The Sun Through
Dark Radiation

Like Me, He had No Aetiology
Surpassing Mythology Owner of Osiris' Envy
Narcissistic-ly Sexy

Perfection
Within His Own
Omega Centauri

Soon To Orbit My Milkiest
of ways I
COSMO Queen Baddest Binary Creation
Wishing for Him to Mutate My Constellation
for
He Had To Be My Soul[ar] mate
My Completion

I Would Risk My Logos Questioning
Allegoric Mass of 8 Inch Heeled Devotion
that Wrap Around Long Legged
Starry Planetesimals

I Wished to Share My Theology Making Him The
Very Existence of Future Monomyths

I Would risk Everything
For In the Blink of An Venusian Eyes
I Worshiped Him
In All His Aesthetic Asterism
