Couldn'T Do It Without You Poem by Chris Foderingham

Couldn'T Do It Without You

When I see you it brings to a smile
Not all day just for a little while
I watched you as you turn around
I remembered every single sound
I watched you as we stared each other down
I loved to see your beauty just a couple of feet away
I always start to frown when you looked away
I guessed away is where you was going to stay
I'll go into a deep daydream
A dream, where I was in a maze
You as my ultimate super prize
If I get to you, I'll be very surprised
Right, left, forward and back
Traced my every step
Walls up here, walls up there
Walls soon to be up, everywhere! ! !
Heart was beating rapidly
Just knowing time was running out

Chris, Chris, was shouted from a far
I knew it could only be her
I started to run, then to a sprint I went
I felt like a track star running in the Olympics
I've seen the timer up above,30 seconds left
I know I could not just give up on real love
I sprinted so hard, I could feel my feet
10 seconds left, when you came into my view
Your beauty so bright, it mostly blinded my view
Still running, not stopping until I got to you
5 seconds left, I'm a couple feet from you
2 seconds left, I jumped for you
When I felt you, the timer stopped
I broke down, and cried
I didn't know what to if I didn't get to you
I knew it was all true, till this day
Your my one and only queen
I'm just waiting until we have the chance to say 'I do'
And it's me and you together, forever
