Country Boats
They are used to carry
jute to the mills
from village to village
and to the market
they will go
When the waters flow
in the rainy season
by boat is the only way
to get around
Upstream
the boatmen must use
their muscle power
Traveling with the current
a raised sail
is encouraged by the wind
Country Boats
are a familiar
sight
in Bangladesh
