Country Life Poem by Lau Jane

Take me back to that time when we were young,
we used to play in the creek and have lots of fun.
We had no cares and had no fear,
that time when we were free, we stole dads beer.
got drunk down at the creek, felt ill and went swimming,
i went too deep you jumped in and saved me,
i said i love you and i always will,
you said be quiet i was just drunk, i still do! !
Ten years have passed form that time when we were young,
nothing has changed except our time has just begun,
we were just married and starting our life,
together we will be husband and wife!
