I know that city folks
Seem happy with their lives
They settle in all snuggly
The husband kids and wife
Year upon year goes by
They never question ‘what if'
They could pack right up and move
To see what the country has to give
Where you take a fresh clean breath
Not a bit of toxic city air
Not crammed in close and tight
With space they have to share
Yes, the air that wafts on by
Is so sweet it makes you smile
You can throw out your arms
And dance with country style
You can let the dog run free
The kids can run as well
Oh, joyful country life
I am country, you can tell!

I like this and I do agree. Have always lived in a town like this and even ones on the beach...There's also the comfort of knowing the merchants when you venture out..Yet, I love to go shopping in NYCity and visit my son there and when in Chicago, one can't top Michigan Ave. and all the bustle and excitement the city has to offer....then return home to the suberbs when done...nice write.....marci.(< :)
