Dear England, steeped in history
From centuries long gone by
Cathedrals grand and beautiful
Tower towards the sky.
Memories of battles fought
Many years ago
Linger in the autumn air
As British archives show.
Distinguished seat of learning
And majestic hall of fame...
Queen and country so beloved
Laureates exult her name.
Walking along the peaceful shore
Hearts beating with pride,
We sign a pledge, weep tears of joy
With England we shall abide.
