Coyotes Always Run Poem by Juan Olivarez

Coyotes Always Run

Rating: 5.0

Van rolled over, twenty dead.
Ice and homeland security all around.
T.v. cameras rolling.

They should know better,
what a miserable way to die.
Looking for the American dream.

They should know better, homeland security,
The border patrol, Ice.
Coyotes always run.

you're writing the truth with a very human heart... eyes that see injustice, and a soul that's angered.... the despair of poverty both violent and cruel.... if we are to be human we must wake up... a very good series of poems!
