Cracked Emotions
Cracked mirrors are the result
of all the pent up emotions
that decided to break something
when they broke out.
Sometimes mirrors
are the only things that are worth hitting,
because sometimes they’re the only things
that see.
So dear cracked mirror,
I’m sorry I broke your shell,
but know that now
all your emotions can escape free.
