Crashing Memories Poem by Rebekah Hedquist

Crashing Memories

Your eyes cold with fear and sorrow
lingers like no tomorrow
Everything you say are,
cast down to the cities below,

Never ending the
crashing memories,
that never fade away
but show the way to
what lies beneath,

Suddenly you are fading,
with whispers so caring and reassuring
but fade with you in the memory.

Your eyes fill with tears,
and show all the fears,
but you are in
my crashing memory.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this also for a story but it also fit with my mother that I can't trust right now. Because she has done things that I will probably never forget but I still love her because she is my mother.
