Cruelty Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Cruelty

Cruelty

No snow on ground!
It is warm for this time
So close to North Pole
February is the month!

The flakes resemble
Small bugs in desert
Tiny, mass, as army
Like drum in the air….

Far away
In a room
All alone
With bed bugs
Lives a man
Crippled!

Motionless his hands, legs
He mumbles, hardly talks…

Sacred are the nurses
Some wolves are among them
They wear the sheep skin…

St. Michael Hospital
Roams around with power
In cloak of nurses, a devil
A cheater, big liar
Like colleague in the jail;
-who killed some elderly
-around eight…
This one is different…

Shy and sad is sky
Window talks
As does knife…

I want dark to hide; die
To erase my name off
Ugly board of the corpse
And the shame of this life…
