Crush Poem by Mark Peel

Crush

When I first met her she had this raspy voice,
so I made this decision based on choice.
That it was the cutest thing I ever did hear,
and now everything just seems so clear.

You see she's got this perfect smile,
one that could take me miles and miles.
I always have her number in my phone already dialed,
cus just thinking about her drives me wild.

You know, that girl with the pretty eyes,
gosh it's just like watching a beautiful sunrise.
I can't help but to gaze right into them,
they make everything else look so dim.

The girl who's drop-dead gorgeous,
and my appreciation for her beauty enormous.
Prettier than a princess from a wonderful children's story,
I can only describe her, as beach morning glory.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this before Jason Mraz's 'I Won't Give up'. I didn't steal his eyes/sunrise rhyme...
