Crushed

I see the fire in your eyes
Your strong desire slowly dies
Your thoughts of love now a hopeless dream
Your fragile life torn at the seam

I see your pain cry out for help
A pointless act with a every step
I see your heart grow black and cold
Your hope now crushed by cruel fate's fold
