Cry Of My Heart



Barely in a state of
awareness thoughts
of you drift in the air
around me
my heart has
cried out to you but
until these days
you have not heard it
and now that
you have heard the
cries your heart
replies in earnest
to the desires
that I have
awaken the heart
and do not
run from me
love me but do
not hurt me
this is the cry
of my heart
