Cubes Poem by Daniel Bowyer

Cubes

Used to feel.
But now I can't control it
Is there any way out
Cause there are no windows and doors in your mind
The only way to escape is to transend
Walk throught to walls and watch the box melt away
But then why is it only mine that seems so unbreakable

Instead of conquering my cage
I invite people in!
But I never wanted them to see that this is where I live

Wanted to be the one
Who would free my loves from theres
And build another to keep all the fragile hearts in

So I shall try my best to make my last gesture a grand one
I will build a beautiful box made from gold
And padded out with silk and feathers
So when i'm gone you can place your pretty little hearts there
