Blue Day Poem by Daniel Bowyer

Blue Day

Yearning for more than a blue day
My heart will not lift
Nor does it beat when I behold
The life beyond the darkness
Seems, to resign to this dull
Gray horizon that troubles me
I wish each day could be semi-warm
Thats the best I can hope for
Or let me die that I now depart
Through the other end of this tunnel
In awe of the carefree, in amazement of the bold
Because with each dawn, I'm cold
