Cuckoo Bird Poem by anusha chandramohan

Cuckoo Bird

Rating: 5.0

Hey, SWEET cuckoo bird,
I see you sitting at the mimosa tree,
Singing a melancholic song,
Fancying your mate and little ones,
Since you can't keep company with them.

I can feel your sorrow and grief,
Don't feel sad my dear cuckoo,
let me tell you a secret:
And mind you, don't tell it to any,
'POSITIVENESS IS ALL', says many.

Be positive my sweetheart,
Your mate WILL come to you with your little ones,
This reminds me of Shelley;
'IF WINTER COMES CAN SPRING BE FAR BEHIND? '
So please be enthusiastic and positive my dear cuckoo.
