Cup Of Ambition Poem by Govind Ramakrishnan

Cup Of Ambition

Torrential rain
Cleanses
This sin city
Washing away
Urban muck,

As sterile sidewalks
Now
Mirror-like
Reflect
Its driven denizens
Who strut on it

Their dreams
However,
Untouched
By rain or shine,
Ready to do battle,
Eking out
The next wish list,
Armed with a
Cup of Ambition:

Starbucks!
