Cupid's Tight Chockehold Poem by Krissy Sosa

Cupid's Tight Chockehold

I really want to get over you,
I love you so much,
If only your heart knew,
I made the mistake by telling you my feelings,
I want to stop,
But my heart keeps on trying,
I’m stuck on something that will never happen,
Whenever I think of you I just become more saddened,
I feel like a lonely damsel in distress,
Because every moment without you I feel more depressed,
I want you to love me,
But I don’t think in love’s dominion you will ever notice me,
We are friends to every degree,
But the concept of you and I will never be,
You are the ruler of all my thoughts,
Trying to live without you is a battle my heart has never fought,
I wish I could travel to a magical place where you and I are together,
Come out of cupid’s grip, I’ll truly love you now and forever,
Cupid please take this plea and give up on this fight,
I’m in a battle without one shining knight,
If you refuse then I surrender,
My heart has already frozen in your angry blizzard.
