Cupid's Wings Poem by Malory Joyce

Cupid's Wings

Hes in love with love,
spared with Cupid's wings
as they linger high above,
with arrows destined for me.
Love once before,
what has his heart be done,
that after the last four
his heart falls for I yet so young.
He is a contender,
fights with love for love he do
but I do not concur,
I the love he fights shall fight too.
His feelings for I so strong,
keep him out of reach with reality,
but I who feel all the wrong,
know dreams as I know he dreams
and as I knew all along,
too short he has of Cupid's wings,
for falling in love with love
leaves no room for me.
