Curiosity Poem by Sara Jo Andrews

Curiosity

One might perish…
One might survive…
One may love…
One may hate...
One could see…
One could hear…
What is one without the other?
This timeless question has many answers.
Some of which I do not possess.
Some of which I care not to know.
This is not a poem of powerful feelings,
It is one born of simple curiosity.
One might say it could be born of boredom.
I say it is simply a matter of opinion.
I can perish…
I will survive…
I may love…
I might hate…
I choose sight…
I prefer to hear…
