Curse On You

If I could put a curse on you
I would have a giggle or two

May your shirt be long and wide
May your friends not give you a ride

May you be late for class
May you fall in dirt and grass

May you not have your work
May your teacher want to lerk

May you lose your shoe
May you sit in glue

If I could put a curse on you
I would have a giggle or two

"Heaven"—is what I cannot reach!
The Apple on the Tree—
Provided it do hopeless—hang—
That—"Heaven" is—to Me!
