Cynic
I know that some people
are getting sick of my cynicism
that is building inside of me
I'm sorry if it has hurt a few people
but I am not ready to conquer it
I do not know my enemy enough yet
It does scare me
because what if it goes too far
I know I'm just part crazy
and that most people are
That is what really scares me
but I know that I'm not really crazy
I'm just searching for the truth
which is more than most of you
will ever conjure

We're all crazy! If I had a dollar everytime somebody said I am not 'normal' I would be a very rich woman! I don't care. I think the world is crazy and I'm normal....... :) Nice poem. Sincerely, Mary
