Daddy Come Back
My heart is breaking
I can not breathe
My daddy is sick
And soon must leave
I'm not prepared
to deal with this
The final words
That last sweet kiss
Please God take him
With a gentle hush
To my mothers arms
That he missed so much
She's been gone
Almost 7 years
He did his best
To hide the tears
Now he's tired
And he can rest
He did his job
He was the best
Another leaf falls
From my family tree
Daddy please
Come back for me...
