Dad's Girls - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Dad's Girls - Lincoln Park Zoo

This colobus monkey does do
Dad duty with my family
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
So far the only guy's been me.
Missus and I over the years
Have had a bunch of daughters that
We raised with loving care, all dears.
Many have left the habitat
To have families of their own.
Right now we have two daughters still
With us until they're fully grown.
Have more daughters? I 'spose we will.

As a Dad I'm a laid back chap,
Leave the girls alone - take a nap.
