Like the Black literature
Let them write,
Dabble in ink and scribble,
Not us
For our doctorates
For promotion
Under the career advancement scheme.
Dalit literature
Of the Dalits, by the Dalits and for the Dalits,
Let them
As they have suffered, struggled to survive,
Let them,
Let them their own experiences
Of sufferings, struggles for survival
Down the ages.
