Dance Poem by Ryan Taylor

Dance

I must ask you my dear
To pardon me
For I don't know
How to dance
But as I look in your eyes
You don't seem to mind
You lay your head
On my shoulder
And pardon me for
Stepping on your toes
The same thought rushes
Through my mind
'What is a girl
Like her doing
Dancing with me
Shes the pageant queen
And well I'm me
So once again
Why is she
Dancing with me
Out of all the people
She could have danced with
She chose to dance with me
