Dance Like No One Is Watching Poem by Ranita Badudu

Dance Like No One Is Watching

Rating: 4.0

Dance like no one is watching
Who cares what they're thinking?
Bare your soul, young girl-woman
No one sees your moment

Whip through jeté en tournant
You know their censure is wrong
Pas de basque and glissade
Make them see and understand

Your emotions are your muse
Let them scream and shout abuse
Show the world that dance is more,
More than their concepts care for

Dance, for no one is watching
You can expose dark things
Bare your soul, young woman-girl
No one's watching your bared soul
