Have you ever decided it was all too much?
That you just wanted to get away?
That you wanted to tell the world you story, but couldn’t
Because you didn’t know what to say?

Have you ever just let go
Of all you thought right and sane
And took off your shoes
Went outside
And started dancing in the rain?

Splashed in a puddle
Looked up to the sky
In the sopping grass
Is where you wanted to lie.

Let the water slide down your skin.
Wipe it away from your brow
Lightning striking in the distance
You not caring how

Spinning in little circles
Thunder mixing with the sound of your laughter
Not thinking of anything
Subconsciously knowing it will be ok from here on after

Have you ever just let go
Of all you thought right and sane
And took off your shoes
Went outside
And started dancing in the rain?
