Dark Days Poem by James Ajala

Dark Days

Dark days
The gloomy days have finally set in
Darkness looms, the earth is weak
The hearts of men faints
None can fathom what lies ahead
Wars and rumors of wars thinkers in the hearts of men
Many plagues have befallen men
Not even the stored gold can buy back what is lost
Suddenly the hearts is gripped with fear
Wickedness of man to man is not at ease
All that can be seen is darkness
The creator though seem silent
Maybe he is tired of our sins
The thirst for blood is insatiable
When the heart is gripped with evil
All that comes out is evil
Who then can escape this perilous times?
Can this evil finally go away?
Will the creator end the madness men brought upon themselves?
Peace can only reign when he steps in
Now is the time to bend the knees
Man must be sober
Only the creator has answers to these unending miseries
