Dark Land

The boy wandered forlorn and alone
Lost in a dark land
Where lies and hatred
Came before truth and love.
Years passed and he became a man
Still wandering the dark land
Where all seemed bleak and sorrowful
And tears flowed like rain.
Following a bright star
He found a truth dazzling the soul
Discovered the love of God
And walked on in truth and light.
