Dark Meadow Poem by Sheridan Woodson

Dark Meadow

A dark meadow
Grass so dark and Gleaming
laced in lost dreams still beaming
Hypnotize the strangers of the weeping
spare a soul safe keeping
lurking beneath me i feel the shadows creeping
with my my last chance at fleeting
the way she moves towards me like a ghost worth keeping
i have a poorly written treaty for
the grand master speaking.
Tarnish my dreams so i can keep on keeping.
sleeping with the dead so far so fleeting
they wish to keep me forever
But i only wish to stay until im no longer sleeping.
