the darkness in my heart
tries to force mt soul
into the realm of darkness
far away from home
as my soul fights the darkness
i sit in bed and cry
slowly my soul withers away
i fell dead inside
my eyes once full of life
are now black and cold
my heart full of darkness
my soul is no more
my life is now in darkness
because of my heart
that let its life disappear
and slip into the dark
hatred and anger swarm through my eyes
they ignite a fire deep inside
my soul cannot be saved
until that very day
when light and dark collide
but always keep in mind
darkness and light
were never meant to be
in a world of hatred and pure misery
