Dates To Remember Poem by Ronald Strickland

A place to go, a place to be,
I have a date at a place to be,
a place to go and people to see.

At this place to be, there are many just like me.
A conversation about families and many
that have shared a lifetime, much like me.

A calendar of the dates and the place to be,
to remind me that I have a place to be and
people to see.

Dates that often come
with a smile that makes me so glad
that care and kindness were there.

When this date is done
and the happiness that it gave
and the quickness of time
was undoubtedly a speed date that made my day.
