Daughter. Poem by SY Wong ...

Daughter.

Rating: 5.0

Daughter I am missing you
I know where you are, but still missing you
You hugged me recently
You said to me, 'goodbye'
That goodbye is not that good, anyway
Now you are at the edge of another, others' end
And I am still here, missing you..admiring things that you gave
The reason you gave was 'for a widening..'
Thanks, thanks for being my daughter
'Love you' is from me to you and you to me.

Keep patience. Let her come to terms with the world that is going to unfold before her as an individual.
