wish you were around Daddy,
just knowing you were there
would have given me the strength
wish daddy, you were there!
as I reached the cross end of life
your love would have sustained me
and your care would have strengthened me
wish daddy, you were there!
daddy, my daddy,
call me home, where I'm loved
cared and protected
wish daddy, you were there!
