Daughters Growing Up With A Father's Love Poem by Terence George Craddock

Daughters Growing Up With A Father's Love

the last thing both my daughters
normally do every school day morning
is give me a hug goodbye before going
to school among arrival first things

they normally do upon gettinging home
is give me a hug they giving me a hug
before going to bed I have to give them
a hug and a kiss goodnight in the first

ad break shortly after they go to bed
if I forget within half an hour they will
normally come and find me a kiss and
a hug good night a few extra hugs perhaps

throughout the day love can be a little hug
of life a small measure of success is not
insignificant when your a father to daughters
who actually daily grow up with their Dad
