Dawning Poem by Minnie Gehrig

Dawning

Nows not the right time for love,
No day dawned ever was,
Stand with open arms,
air wraps its way around
the iris of eyes,
Windswept kisses,
Soft words dance across my ears,
You love, smile
like the sunrise,
and I cant help but think
Perhaps a new day is dawning.
