Day Unto Day
From day to day I cry
I find the case wry
That though I try
I cannot my fredom buy
From these shackles of gloom
I will to rise soon
Like the flower bloom
Giving my heart room
To exalt and run
To have all the fun
To bask in the sun
To swim, jump and run
I want to be gay
To feel the solar ray
To have me a free day
When all I do is play.
