Daydream Poem by Linda Coker

Daydream

Rating: 5.0

Let your thoughts drift in and out
To places you love to dream about
Imagine a walk on distant shores
Removed from heartache, stress and chores

Feel the breeze as it tosses your hair
Enjoy a breathtaking scenery stare
Soak in the culture of foreign lands
Gather up treasures from pastel sands

And if your burdens tie you down
Preventing your mind from leaving town
Worldwide travel can be a sure bet
Just hitch a ride on the internet
