Larkin is just brilliant! The way that he is able to take everyday normality, such as days, and transform them into something extraordinary whilst using ordinary words! Larkin has a remarkable talent for forcing his readers to stop and think about the things that we overlook and take as just a given. Like days for example, other poets go on about the stars, the sun and the sheer magic of them, but not Larkin 'What are days for? Days are where we live in', How Brilliant is that line! Simple Lanuage, yet it provokes profound thinking! Wonderful Larkin, just Wonderful!
