Dayspring Dream Poem by Panchagnula Vijay Chandra

Dayspring Dream

Rating: 4.5

Dreams wake me up in the night,

That see me with a deadly sight,

An illusion creating chaos,

Perhaps a monster or a beast beneath,

Ready for that very gulp,

My eyes wide open but the lids still shut,

My little piece of mind not ready to witness,

I hear an unknown familiar voice,

'Vijay wake up its eight in the morning'

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Hello friends, many a times someone wakes you up in the morning. When you are in the world of your own dreaming, or somewhere confused whether its a dream or is it happening really. Here I have a poem for a feeling somewhat like that only when my dad use to wake me up in the morning.

A nice poem well articulated and penned with insight. When I was much younger, I used to be afraid to get back to sleep after nightmares. A good piece of poetry, thanks for sharing and do keep it up. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
