May you be successful and know of prosperity
My friends of past decades you were good to me
And may you know of love and may you live carefree
Till my end you will live on in my memory,
We had our disagreements that is life one must say
But the test of our friendship is that as friends we did stay
And though sad to say we may not meet again
As friends of my past you will always remain,
Dear friends of my past our good times i recall
Together we socialized drunk stout and played football
And though we went our own ways in life and the past is gone
Fond memories of you with me are living on
And dear friends of the past to you my toasting glass i raise
And i will always feel happy for to sing of your praise.
