Dear grasshopper,
When was the last time you acted not selfishly?
When shall you work not just for the sake of your “me”?
When shall this aching world benefit your goodness?
If there’s a disabled man, don’t close the business.
Dear grasshopper,
You appear like an ant but your appearance lies.
You can’t hide it…I can see you through your disguise.
When shall you truly be a Good Samaritan?
For the better, why not do the best that you can?
Dear grasshopper,
You should change now before your friends turn back from you.
Fill yourself once again of wisdom and virtue.
Service before self is never a foolish thing.
Be not selfish, and then from you honor shall spring.
Wait not for the moment of shame and great disgrace
Let not other creatures abhor your name and face.
