Dear Lord

Dear Lord I Pray
Let me be a represenative for you today
Humble my spirit to be mindful of what I say
Touch my heart so I will know its okay to obey
Because I want to display
The elements that may, make a difference
This world is in constant disarray
Full of corrosion and decay
Souls by the numbers are going astray
Living for now and throwing tomorrows away
Looking at life one way
All I can say, is Dear Lord I Pray

    A lovely devotional poem acknowledging the OMNIPRESENCE, OMNISCIENCE, AND OMNIPOTENCE NATURE OF GOD. A prayer of total submission to HIS WILL. A nice piece indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON. (Report) Reply

Whate'er we leave to God, God does,
And blesses us;
The work we choose should be our own,
God leaves alone.
