I once knew a woman named scarlet
Her lustrous red hair
Her name was scarlet
I discovered her on an orange autumn day
Her name was scarlet
And there was nothing I could say
My thought transcended words or meaning
My eyes were glazed
As I stood there dreaming
She walked ever so slow
As for an instant I stood hollow as love replaced my heart
I watched and let her go
Years pass as sweet love looses its flavor
Fleeting images of lustrous red hair
Remind me of what I had once ceased to savor
Soon enough I discover with glee
sitting upon my death bed, scarlet before me
It truly was meant to be
beautiful in life what meant to be happens but it shouldhappen at the right time and right place then one is lucky..then again few people are lucky enough to have esxperiences of that kind of joy, also read you hiku I guess too much of anything in the end makes one tired of it except for love which is always a benevolence of truth truht of God , , , , well done
What a beautiful piece! Scarlet, such a beautiful name.. All your feelings are radiant in this piece, nicely done
